HAUNTVILLE PRESENTS: 13 TWISTED FAIRY TAILS

Take this walking tour, if you dare, for an hour of fun, freak and fright! 

**Please note: this is an outdoor and indoor event, dress for cool and or wet weather. There are multiple stairs the tour will traverse during the production; some areas may be very narrow, slippery or dimly lit. There may be flashing lights and the use of smoke machines in addition to loud and surprising sensory outbursts. Keep this in mind; this event may not be suitable to those who foresee these circumstances to pose accessibility troubles.

A rather Grimm take on the stories you think you know, our House of Haunt will rearrange your brains, turning your guts inside out! This year, come see Hauntville creepier than ever with more blood, scares and spookiness than could fit in all three of our porridge bowls. 

Enter the story book…on this night, take candy from strangers. Eat the apple. Drink the little bottle. Wander on the road less travelled, the one with a faint and omnipresent whisper.

When trouble stops lurking in the shadows and jumps off the page, are you sure you want to call Peter Pan to sew that shadow back down? You know how he is with a thimble…

When the lonely mermaid from the deep dark abyss calls you towards the darkness for help, do you answer? Is it a plea or a warning? Do you go see to find out? Do you have a choice?

Who’s worse? The little girl in a red hood who walks in the wood or the wild beast looking for dinner? Or, is it you, who told the same story over and over, but never asked the question.

Hauntville: 13 Twisted Fairy Tails is excited to shove these questions in your face and tickle any other hairs along your spine we may have missed so far. Join us, this Halloween weekend.

Join us for our FIFTH annual Asheville Immersive Haunted House! 

From the mindscape that brought you Appalachian Murder Ballad (2021), Appalachian Apocalypse (2022), AVL AI Summit  (2023), and House of Revolution  (2024), this year Hauntville brings to life [or death] 13 Twisted Fairy Tails. With the support of Montford Park Players, we’re turning the Hazel Robinson Amphitheater on its head. 

This familiar and beloved Asheville theater will be used as it has never been used before; the tour will take you backstage, behind stage, above and below stage, on stage and off. We’ll take you way over the edge on a surely unfamiliar deep, dark dive down the rabbit hole for a terror filled series of familiar forsaken fairelore, told inside out, bound [tightly] to make you squirm.
